We have decided to start our list of the top beaches in Corfu, with the famous Agios Georgias beach.
When you reach here, all that you will remember is the sweeping sand and the refreshing calm waters. The best thing about this beach is that it never gets too high even during the peak of the season and is a favorite holiday destination for families and windsurfers.
The beach is situated on the west coast, which is just south of the Agios Stephanos. You can drive to the beach via a narrow steep road in a car.
This long, wide, sandy beach has a gentle slope that stretches into the sea. The location of the beach is situated in an off-beaten route and that is why it presents as a great option for those who want to enjoy a relaxing vacation amidst tranquility. There are a few taverns situated near the small harbor, where you can go and have some drinks and snacks if you want to. Travelling to the Agios Stephanos is easier by car.
The beach is located on the northern tip of the Corfu Island and extends across a stretch of 8 km in length. The waters are shallow here and the beach has a gentle slope, so it’s an ideal place for families and sports enthusiasts looking around for a good time.
